Marvin Engineering: Engineering Case Study

Challenge:

Marvin Engineering is a privately owned provider of development, delivery and support services to the aerospace and defense industry. During Go-live preparation for their SAP® implementation, Marvin’s support team was faced with the challenge of taking on a new set of technologies while stabilizing their recent move to virtualization. Along with the new environment, the project go-live was dependent on the system being stable and transports getting to production in a timely manner.

Solution:

To meet this challenge, Marvin chose GROM’s Availability Management Service, which delivered a complete Basis outsourcing solution for the required SAP project and operations support.

Results:

GROM was able to transition the support from the existing implementation partner in a week and help stabilize the environment for the go-live. The responsive nature of the service ensured the project team was well supported during the transition to be able to continue business as usual. This was achieved for less than the cost of one FTE.
