Position Title: SAP Data Conversion/Cutover Lead ConsultantJob Number: 9909Date Received: 2010-03-12 00:00:00 Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 9 - 12 months Start Date: 4/5/2010 # of positions: 1 Description/ Required Experience: Our client requires an experienced SAP Data Conversion and Cutover Lead consultant for an SAP ECC 6.0 implementation. This will be approximately a 9 month project. The consultant needs to have served as an SAP Data Conversion and Cutover Lead on multiple SAP implementations, including at least 2 other Aerospace and Defense SAP manufacturing implementations that use project based manufacturing. The consultant must have excellent leadership and communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They must also be able to work flexible hours if required to meet the project schedule. They must also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The consultant, who will report to the Project Manager, will be required to: -Develop the data conversion strategy for the projects and write the data conversion plans -Develop the functional/technical specification documents for any extracts and load programs required -Work with the developers to develop the extract and load programs -Plan and coordinate the testing of all the data conversions and data reconciliations -Develop the cutover plan and task list for the projects -Coordinate the “practices” of the cutover to Production -Coordinate the actual cutover to Production -Document the data conversions and the data reconciliations and prepare the documentation required by the auditors -Provide regular statuses on the data conversion program and the cutover planning to the Project Manager -Work with the Project Manager to identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues. -Perform other data conversion and cutover related tasks that are required to ensure that the project is completed successfully and on schedule.
