Position Title: SAP Master Data Migration ManagerJob Number: 9765Date Received: 2010-01-21 00:00:00 Location: Arlington, VA Duration: Contract To Perm Start Date: ASAP # of positions: 1 Description/ Required Experience: The Data Migration Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the strategy, tools, controls and execution associated with CLIENT’s Enterprise Master Data Management, Data Migration, Data Archiving and M&A integration requirements. This will include all data migration requirements to support CLIENT’s SAP applications, existing Legacy ERP/Critical Systems and future M&A ERP integration requirements and efforts consistent with CLIENT’s corporate policies defined the SAP Center Of Excellence (CoE). The primary functions this position will perform are: Develop and maintain a Enterprise Master Data management and integration solution across CLIENT’s Business organizations to support SAP and critical legacy business systems Work with SAP CoE and deployment teams to determine EMDM requirements Define and develop record of source standards and business/technical logic Define, develop and execute data cleansing and de-duping procedures Define, develop and execute data validation rules and processes. Define, develop and execute data integration and flow processes Identify and deploy tools for data migration, archiving and integration Define, develop and maintain data security and access standards and control Develop and execute data migration and integration from CLIENT legacy systems into CLIENTs SAP solutions Work with SAP CoE and deployment teams to determine EMDM requirements Define and develop record mapping standards and requirements Define, develop and execute data cleansing and de-duping procedures Define, develop and execute data validation rules and processes. Define, develop and execute data integration and flow processes Identify and deploy tools for data migration, archiving and integration Define, develop and maintain data security and access standards and control Develop and execute data archiving solution for CLIENT legacy systems that have been replaced by CLIENTs SAP solutions Work with SAP CoE and deployment teams to determine legacy archiving and reporting requirements (data, tools, capacity, time period, security) Define and develop record mapping standards and requirements Define, develop and execute data backup and recovery requirements Identify and deploy tools for database, reporting, mining, etc. Develop and execute M&A data migration and integration from newly acquired company’s legacy systems into CLIENTs SAP and EMDM solutions Work with SAP CoE and M&A teams to determine date migration and integration requirements and standards Define and develop record mapping standards and requirements required to reduce M&A migration and integration timeline Define, develop and execute process execution procedures Define, develop and execute data validation rules and processes. Define, develop and execute data integration and flow processes Identify and deploy tools for data migration and integration Define, develop and maintain data security and access standards and control Provide input into definition of CLIENT enterprise data model Coordinate data migration, cleansing, testing and sign-off efforts with Value Centers Manage migration and integration project budget Management of Data Migration Resources Internal CLIENT Resources across all Value Centers External contract and consulting resources (between 12 – 50 FTEs) Departmental resources reporting directly to the Data Migration Manager Employee Development Schedules Time and Attendance Employee relationships and mentoring 5 years of data migration, MDM and M&A Integration experience, including: Deep knowledge in ERP integration and data management ERP legacy systems, networks, business partners and M&A processes Knowledge of data elements definitions and mapping processed leverage by ERP and reporting systems SAP MDM knowledge Knowledge of data migration tools, BackOffice, etc. BS/BA in Information Systems or Computer Sciences Describe the most important competencies required of the individual.
