Position Title: Senior SAP ABAP/PI DeveloperJob Number: 9738Date Received: 2010-01-14 00:00:00 Location: Flemington, NJ Duration: Direct Placement Start Date: ASAP # of positions: 1 Description/ Required Experience: Grom's client requires a Sr. ABAP/PI Developer to support the Technical team for development to rollout, production support and enhancement of Client's SAP system. The position will report to the Manager, SAP Technical Systems, and will be part of the IT Shared Services function. Responsibilities include: 1. Serving as a Senior ABAP/PI developer for development and rollout, production support and enhancement of client’s SAP system in client’s internal SAP Competency Center. 2. Working closely with the process team to understand the business requirements, review their functional specs, develop technical specs, develop code, unit test the code and finally support the process team during integration testing. 3. Investigating and fixing production issues. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems is required. Experience: The Sr. ABAP/PI Developer must be experienced in programming in ABAP and PI, experienced in architecting /configuring interfaces using PI preferably with release MySAP ERP 2005. • Must have 5 – 7 years of hands-on ABAP experience and 1 – 2 years of hands-on PI development experience. • Must have extensive knowledge of ABAP development workbench, Dictionary, SAPforms, BAPI's, Call transactions Enhancement Framework, RFC’s, BADI’s, IDOC, ALE and ABAP OBJECTS. • Extensive knowledge on system landscape, Integration Builder, Integration configuration, Business Process Management (BPM), adapter engine, end-to-end monitoring and alert framework. • Must have minimum two full-lifecycle implementations of SAP • Must have excellent analytical, logical problem solving and technological skills. • Sound knowledge of SAP business processes is preferred. • Java, SAP Portal and Big 4 Consulting experience would be a plus GROM Associates provides consulting services for Information Management Systems in a wide range of industries.
