Position Title: SharePoint DeveloperJob Number: 9678Date Received: 2009-12-14 00:00:00 Location: Arlington, VA Duration: Direct Placement Start Date: ASAP # of positions: 1 Description/ Required Experience: Our client is looking for an experienced Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS 2007) developer to be part of a new global initiative for 30,000 employees plus an extranet for customers, suppliers and partners. This person will be responsible for full life-cycle software development of high-quality, enterprise-scale web applications in the SharePoint .NET environment, including integrations with third-party systems. 1. Develop, deploy, test and support SharePoint/.NET applications. 2. Create master pages and page layouts, custom web parts, custom lists, custom content types, etc. 3. Develop solutions to integrate with other business applications. 4. Write SQL queries, stored procedures and views. 5. Create Business Process Management solutions with workflows. 6. Collaborate with others to design and implement solutions that provide long term scalability, reliability, and performance. 7. Meet software compliance standards in all applications. 8. Develop and maintain application documentation on an ongoing basis. 9. Contribute to best practices for SharePoint development 10.Provide other web-based development and services as needed. College degree required. 3 – 5 years experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server development. Exceptional .NET development skills. Strong SQL Server skills. Must be familiar with SharePoint DB architecture. Experience working with MOSS 2007 Share Point Designer 2007, Web Services, User Controls, XML and CAML. Knowledge of Infopath, Business Data Catalog, Forms Services, Excel Services and Report Center preferred Requires superior analytics and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
