Position Title: Development ManagerJob Number: 9654Date Received: 2009-12-11 00:00:00 Location: Arlington, VA Duration: Contract To Perm Start Date: 1/4/10 # of positions: 1 Description/ Required Experience: The Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the strategy, tools, controls and execution associated with CLIENT’s SAP application technical enhancements to support core business processes and integration to support CLIENT’s Enterprise Master Data Management, Data Migration, Data Archiving and M&A requirements. This will include all integration requirements to support CLIENT’s SAP applications, existing Legacy ERP/Critical Systems and future M&A ERP efforts consistent with CLIENT’s corporate policies defined the SAP Center Of Excellence (CoE). The primary functions this position will perform are: Develop and maintain application enhancement and integration solution across CLIENT’s Business organizations to support SAP and dependent critical legacy business systems Work with SAP CoE and deployment teams to determine enhancement and integration requirements Define and develop record of enhancement and integration standards and business/technical logic Define, develop and execute requirements gather, documentation, programming and support procedures necessary to support enhancements and integration Define, develop and execute testing and approval rules, procedures and processes Define, develop and execute integration and process flow standards Identify and deploy tools for application enhancements, Integration, programming, library management, source control and testing. Define, develop and maintain security and access standards and control Provide input into definition of CLIENT enterprise enhancement and integration model Coordinate enhancement and integration requirements with CoE, GPOs/GPEs, Master Data Management Team, and business units Manage enhancement and integration project budget Management of Development Resources Internal CLIENT Resources across within the CoE and all business units External contract and consulting resources Departmental resources reporting directly to the Development Manager Employee Development Schedules Time and Attendance Employee relationships and mentoring 5 years of application enhancement and Integration experience, including: Deep knowledge in ERP integration and data management CLIENT ERP legacy systems, networks, business partners and M&A processes Knowledge of data elements definitions and mapping processed leverage by ERP and reporting systems SAP technical knowledge a plus Knowledge of data migration tools, BackOffice, etc. BS/BA in Information Systems or Computer Sciences Describe the most important competencies required of the individual.
